A lot of my copywriting is based around websites, so includes:

  • updating existing website copy
  • re-vamping existing website copy
  • writing new website copy.

Website writing is very particular – putting across key messages whilst assuming your reader is only scanning the text for key words of interest.

Where possible I use plain English (not smothering the main message with flowery language, complicated or unusual words*).  For years I’ve been using and researching writing methods such as ‘usable writing’ and now International English.
