I can localise your copy to meet the needs of your audience by:
- adapting the language so that your target audience finds it easy to read
- reflecting local cultural sensitivities (this area is huge, take your pick!)
Much of the localisation work I do involves turning US English into UK English (dictionary spellings and cultural references).
I can also turn UK or US English into International English*.
If your copy or website can be understood by people with limited English skills, or those with English as a second language, you’ve just got yourself a whole new potential customer base.

*International English is a style of writing that can be understood by the majority. A standard hasn’t yet been reached on the subject, but International English is really what my ‘Say it like it is’ ethos is all about.
